Siddhartha Peghini:

Born in 1970, Sid grew up as an anti-authority kindergarten kid in the heart of Kreuzberg. Even before he spoke his first words, he was already trying to mimic Beatles songs or early Sesame Street sounds.
In tow behind his parents (themselves ardent folk musicians), he spent the next years of his childhood somewhere between Ithaca,Greece, and Baden-Württmberg, Germany, until, towards the close of the eighties he returned to Berlin, where he managed to complete his Abitur (High School degree equivalent) and a bookseller apprenticeship beside diverse musical projects.
Despite his refusal for years to face the dangers of the professional business, he could never get around his deep passion for writing enigmatic songs, and returned to his old hometown Berlin after years of roving, with not much more than a guitar and a bag full of songs. | |
