Alas, this poor girl had to stroll around the world for a very long time before she finally groked what her vocal chords were going to make out of her. Disgraced by marathon-like working shifts at the***** Studios in Cologne and by macho-producers (whose favourite saying was "how long is your pubic hair?") she eventually got to know what she would never do in her life. Her grief was warping her face, her body was getting covered all over with rash, she was even losing her hair when all of a sudden a phone-call from the capital city woke her up from her nightmare saying: "Oh amore, I´ve fallen in love with your voice and we definitely must do something together, possibly music!!!" Who was this euphoric "young" master of the six-stringed fretboard?

She had to think over for two long seconds before she finally made up her mind: that guy was Italian, loved green tea and was a very good cook, therefore everything was giving reasons for a musical cooperation. She promptly took the first flight to Berlin, where she found the most lukewarm job on earth (reading newspaper=money), a very interesting singing teacher (singing=masturbating) and the right thing to do: making music!!

On a gloomy October day in 1998 this man started his way from the deepest south of Europe to the capital of Germany in order to begin a new life..
Once there he tried to put back up again his Sicilian metal-progressive-project. This attempt was eventually condemned to failure..
This man´s musical dream which had always accompanied him since the first hair popped up on his chest (that means back at the age of 8) seemed to be vanishing into the air. The desperate spaghetti-eater (without vulcano, without Mamma and without musica!) would have probably killed himself, hadn´t he met the busty blonde from Cologne. She enchanted him at once with her powerful "breast voice"...

With her a new life begun! The two companions started their (musical) relationship during improvised Sunday-afternoon home-gigs. The cold-hearted German Valkyrie and the short-legged Italian baldhead soon had the right idea: Skin Diary.
Now our dear Italian, whose strong points are his punctuality (being 1/2 hour too late at every rehearsal), his inner tranquillity (breeding a new argument at every rehearsal), his modesty (saying "I am sooo cool!" every two rehearsals) and his computer screen full of self-portraits, has finally found the fulfilment of his dreams in Skin Diary..

"Alter, weß ick och nich, keene Ahnung, aber irgendwie kam da dieser Kunde, der irgendwie verdammt coole Scheiße spielt..."(transl. "Yooh, buddy, it´s like, dunno, like, you know, that fella came along, somehow, you know, he do plays bass so goddamn well…"). In spite of his nice-sounding French name we never managed to integrate Rene as the French aristocrat in our multi-cultural band. Not only because of his "elegant" eloquence... he simply is an Ossi (transl. Eastern German). And he grooves like hell.
Newly on board with Skin Diary he is also the biddy among us and has considerably dropped down the band´s average age, together with the band´s funds: in fact, just like the other four members one day Rene ascertained that work is nothing but the worst "minor matter" in life.

Therefore he decided he just wants to make music. Once a bass slave, he now enjoys the musical freedom and takes active part in the hair-raising arguments in Skin Diary´s rehearsal room.

Puya´s real face is very hard to identify since he´s lifted up his hair only once in his life..
Hypothesis nr.1: Is Puya is the reincarnation of Frank Zappa?
Hypothesis Nr.2: Is Puya an islamic terrorist?
After September 11th 2001 Puya suddenly moved from Hamburg to Berlin in order to study maths... Is Skin Diary only a disguise or maybe even the next victim of a terror attack?

Hypothesis Nr.3: Is Puya a Persian pet?
Puya usually lives in a cosy den in symbiosis with fellow creatures (the poodle Smaarty). If properly nourished and treated Puya may become very lazy and develop a sudden urge for tenderness but only with selected people (his girlfriend Pia). Apart from that, Puya seems to possess a pronounced sense of rhythm: Scholars often observed him hit small drums while having 30 blood in his tequila..
His "laboral activity" consists of sleeping, drum-playing and filling up funnel-shaped paper rolls with some unidentified green stuff..
Main outer features: thick-hair, extremely skinny figure, nimble hooked ambulation.
